As part of this retail refurbishment Symmetrys have been employed to review the proposed structural alterations to the unit within the Castle Mall in Norwich. With the use of finite element design packages we have reviewed the proposed floor loadings on this concrete framed structure which include the proposals to create new service voids within the slabs. Other works have included the feasibility studies of installing heavy x-ray machines and the review of new service weights on the structure.
