A large scale residential project. The refurbishment and conversion of a Victorian frame factory in Islington, London. The building comprises a five storey traditional late Victorian structure at the end of a terrace of similar buildings. The proposed works will include the removal of floor plates to create double height spaces, the installation of a feature staircase, the installation of a new lift and the creation of a new accessible heavily planted roof terrace. Other structural works included the re-construction of the rear elevation and the restraint of the suspended floor to perimeter walls to enable the floors to act as diapghrams.
