This outstanding project by Pools for Schools in collaboration with Total Swimming involves installing swimming pools in Primary School halls for a few weeks to enable children to learn to swim.

The proposed pool was 12 x 6 x 0.9 meters in dimension and founded on three layers of timber spreader boards placed over the existing flooring in the sports hall at Preston Park. Symmetrys were involved from a structural aspect to ensure the suitability of the floor in terms of being load bearing. The pool was installed and enjoyed immensely by the children.
