Symmetrys have been appointed to carry out the structural refurbishment works for The New Testament Church in Willesden. The property comprises two three storey middle and end terraced houses, which were formerly sub-divided to provide ground floor retail premises with commercial offices on the upper levels.
The refurbishment works include converting the existing second floor offices into residential units, upgrading the first floor offices and also upgrading the existing ground floor community areas. Steel frames and new foundations have been installed to enable load bearing walls to be removed. Other works have included the creation of new voids in the suspended floors to accommodate the installation of a new lift.
